“When I arrived at the property, I was told that my room was not available. I had booked a queen suite 10 months prior to the stay. I asked for a partial refund, and the manager refused. They wanted to give me two rooms instead of a suite. I was traveling with my son and didn’t want him staying alone. I was given the excuse of being overbooked and then another excuse that there was water damage to the room. When I arrived, there was not a manger on site.”

“The gentleman who waited on us to check in & out wasn’t friendly. He was difficult to hear because he spoke softly. He did not offer a receipt at check out. The Window blind in room was broken. When retracting, it appeared to be broken on the left side. There was no wall thermostat in the room - only holes where it should have been. A channel guide would be helpful for the tv.”

“Water pressure was bad, never got the water hot”

“Rooms need to be updated and repaired. Beds needs to be replaced. Chair is room was broken and on off season the bar and grill is not recommended.”

“The hotel is older, so furniture needs to be upgraded, especially chairs and sofa beds. The first room was so bad we moved the next day to a much better room. The hotel was very clean even with its age. The staff was super friendly and Karen at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Breakfast was okay but the warming solution used didn’t keep the food hot enough. We would stay there again.”

“We arrived at 4pm and they gave away our room to someone else in error because they didn't bother to check the name. So we had to settle for a smaller room that was not as clean as expected for a newer hotel. Very disappointed. The best part of tge stay was their pancake machine ar breakfast. Even though I travel through the area often, I won't be going back. Definitely not up to Hilton hotel group standards.”

“I stayed here with my dog while we were going to visit New River Gorge (which I also highly recommend!). Nobody seemed annoyed that I had my dog! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay. It was safe and clean. The park was super close and there is a ton of stuff to eat nearby as well. I appreciated the room also came with a fridge and microwave. Good tv options (it rained a lot on day so I appreciated this). Coffee available all day. Ample parking. Really can’t go wrong...

“Nice little older style hotel that has been renewed. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was it was noisy beside the old main road with traffic but that eventually settled. Definitely would recommend. Budget friendly”
